that guitar is actually a prototype made in 1981 by fender to look like hendrix's woodstock strat. That guitar is #2 of 3 made, that guitar eventually got put into production as the jimi hendrix voodoo strat and the '68 reverse special stratocaster, it is all stock, stevie did nothing to it. But he did have a red one that he put a laft hand neck on.

its one of three Hendrix prototype stratsthey weren't released to the general public. pretty sweet. john mayer has one as well

yeah but stevie changed the neck to a revers head stock neck so it would still look like jimi's guitar
