Trumpetz and Schetcer, guys I see your point, but you know Jazz and classical were once pop music, and astime passed they evolved lost their popular appeal. But it is that attitude that it should be left to people who play or understand music that really killed jazz I think. I agree Jazz needs to be understood to be appreciated to a degree, but I think that shouldn't stop others from commenting. Perhaps enlightening rather than condemning or belittling the "typical enthusiast" would be better?

I hear and I see, and it follows the chart and his solo is "totally" constructed, like he knew the chart...

what a perfect way to wreck this tune....the blend of that nylon guitar EQ is terrible with big band....but the worst is the total lack of articulation in his solo...It sounds like he's shooting the notes at you...the only thing this video shows is his picking technique....mahavishnu is not bad...don't get me wrong but this is totally senseless
