Bette is the best, this song is awesome! I remember seeing "Divine Madness" in the theaters when it first came out, and I remember being incredibly moved by this song. I still am, all these years later. So attention makers of the DVD: resolve whatever problems you've got with including this on the disc, and re-release "Divine Madness" with this soulful, magnificent performance. Such musical art can't be held to the idiocies and legalities of copyright or whatever is keeping it off the DVD.

What a beautiful voice she has. How could I forget that? And how great to see Katey Sagal (the middle background singer)! I forgot that she started with Bette.

To appreciate the performer is to appreciate the song. Aidan obviously has a thing for Waits. That's nice, he's good too. Midler shares a gift of entertaining... what a beautiful song, and what a heartfelt performance! I felt like taking the first ship back to australia listening to it. We are blessed to have so many beautiful people on the planet :)

Her song ??? what's all that about. Waits wrote the song. The lyrics are just far too good for anyone else but Waits to have written it. Period. |
