I think I thought it was great when I was a boy, and this song was being played often. I don't love the song now. 50 listens and it's had it for me. I heard it hundreds of times. I did love it. But I think the chord progression in the chorus and otherwise not only pall but make me sick after so many listens.The memory was just saying that, in my family holiday home in Republic of Ireland, Southern Irish young neighbours tried to foist their foreign nationality on me, a British person.
