I was behind a GTR at a recent track event. The second row was filling up, and when the Vette guys came through I started watching the expressions on their faces. They looked like someone put a dog turd under their noses or they pretended it wasn't there. Hilarious

you guys are funny, getting all worked up.Both cars are great, which one is best is just an opinion. An all wheel drive car is awesome to drive they feel like they are locked down to the road. The ZR-1 is faster but it's motor it twice the size and it is SUPERCHARGED which is basically a turbo charger that is run off the fan belt instead of exhaust gas

No, its not smaller. Its LIGHTER. And, heres another strike against the GTR. They are spitting out transmissions because they cant handle a lowly ~500 horse without their womanly VDC system being turned on. Nissan is voiding their GTR's warranty if you turn on the launch control system. Thats got to be one AWESOME car when they know the transmissions are going to fail!Again, why dont you come back when you graduate and learn to put up a decent argument?

You fat cowboys make me laugh with your exaggerated excuses. ZR1 6.2 smaller than GTR 3.8?????????? Haha go back to school and do your math you dropouts because your excuses are so lame. Don't worry you hillbillies the V Spec is coming. It will be lighter and more powerful. That pile of rubbish ZR1 will get total humiliation
ChrisAWare (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Again, the GTR's motor weighs over 600 pounds dry. The ZR1's motor weighs around 520 pounds dry. You lose. But feel free to keep making your country look retarded. Even your buddies at Top Gear call the ZR1 a masterpiece.

Its true. I beat the snot out of my Toy any chance I get and nothing has broken yet.

Sir, hold your horses. 6.2 is the smaller engine for C6. You don't know what you're talking about, because if you did, you would know that for us, "big" means the 706 cubic inch 11.5 liter V8s in our drag cars. People buy their girls 4.6 liter Mustangs for their graduation gifts. There is simply no point in having a smaller engine for a performance car. The GT-R is an over hyped computerized sports car. Stop making a big deal out of it, it clearly isn't in the same league as the ZR1.

"Unbreakable little bastards?" Funny you should say that, because that's EXACTLY what my automotive teacher said about his Toyota truck!
CorvettesSuckAzz (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Corvette is total rubbish because it took a big and fat 6.2 Litre engine to barely beat a GTR. Wait until the Spec V smashes that piece of garbage. You stupid cowboys can't do anything about it because you have no money and your economy is shitty. |
