Actually Pani Poni Dash and Negima!? (the remake one) are a lot like this anime in some ways since they are all made by many of the same people. You might want to check those out too. Not so much in terms of story since they do need a different premise -but they all take place in schools- but they also have the random cameos and crap popping up all over the place as well. You know that green frog thingy that you've been seeing from this series? Yeah that's from Negima!?
