What happened to this type of glam-y music, all Bowie / Smiths / Pulp with a sense of style? Britpop is so painfully sincere now, and going in this dreadful U2 direction, where all the songs are about the world's problems or whatever.

I remember a review of them playing in nyc during their one US tour, calling him "sylph like".Perfect.I wish I had a time where I could have been called that....but I think Brett captured it in perfect sylph fashion.I admire them for coming from nothing, and becoming everything they gave us.True artists. These are the people our civilization should honor.
