The space between the PCI/AGP/PCI-E slots eg will always be the same, since the expantion slots on the case are the same.

definetly 4870 m8 ATI give more for ur money and if ur gonna build a rig around GPU then Crossfire is so much better than SLI

actually you can mix brands as long as they are the same core speed and mem speed, you can even go as far as a matching an 8600 gt with a gtx 280. as long as the slower one is in the top slot. the only thing is that the faster card the gtx 280 will lower its core an mem speeds to sync.

I am sure you have found out by now but what you do is simply restart your computer & it should prompt you at restart at desktop to enable SLI.

i just bought my other gtx280, is plgged and installed, but when i open the nvidia control panel, i canot see the (set sli config) y????????????

yeah, it can be 1x xfx 8800gt and 1x evga 8800gtas long at the gpu's are the same, like 2x g80's or 2x g92's then you are all good |
