I grew up in Bayonne in the 70's and I was back about 15 yrs ago and the change that it took was amazing I still remembered my old haunts I also know some people that never left and have raised their families there .. I have lived all over the eastcoast and there is something about NJ bayonne showed me to stand tall and never back down it also told me when to to speak and when to protect you and yours ...ren

ive tried out other lifestyles such as living in hunterdon county for a summer & coltsneck for a summer with my cousins(16&17)before doing that, i never appreciated how great bayonne is. you cant go out on the weekends without seeing at least 100 teenagers of different cliques all hanging out together, there's always something to do-you'll never sit home.Bayonne has taught me to respect all types of people & know when to keep my mouth shut.once you learn that,there's no place better for a teen

Bayonne used to be a very nice town - when my grandmother made her life there in the 30s, etc. It's the people that ruin a place - no regard or respect for how they live. Of course there are economic reasons for places to go downhill, but there is no excuse for living like pigs and ruining your environment. I lived there for a few years in the 90s and was saddened at the state of things only a few years ago. Don't blame Bayonne - blame yourselves.

Wasn't born there (Kearny boy!)but lived in Bayonne for about 12 years. Knew a lot of good people and places in that town. I know it's changed some since I left 15 years ago, but what hasn't?

i lived here my hole life. and it isnt rly. but yes about the dot heads lol! and all of your "wanna be thug punks" r just like 10 or 15 losers that hang out at the park, and pretend to be black. but if u dont look at them they dont do anything
