you got to be kinding me...the brosnan sequences were a representation of who bond is or at least was...war and women...not only were female sillouettes and female vocals the trademark for the intro scene but the COMPLETE lack of them just made this whole thing weak...and theres nothing wrong with bringing new ideas to the table but im sure youve heard about the return of female vocals for the new bond...and to me that says something

casino royale was not only a much better film but actually had a title sequence that wasnt painfull to watch and was actually enjoyable. The Brosnan sequences were absolutely pitiful

Read the books. Fleming was emphatic about Bonds bad habits. He said that Bond had a 70+ cig a day habit. Even Daniel Craig bitched that he wasn't allowed to smoke. And this wasn't before the women. He always tried to charm women into bed. He was a Commander in the navy before this mind you.

The best opening titles for a movie I've seen in the past ten years! Wonderful!

this is bond before the women mind you, this is when he just got his license to kill. In my opinion, smoking wasn't a huge Bond trait. He's bond with or without it. After this movie is when the women came back. |
