wow...i havent heard this song in a long time...i had played this song back in the 8th grade and to my suprise we played it freakin' badass...ours was slightly different but mostly in the ending which for me was tiring.

Ah yeah, we played this last year in our high school band. It was fun. Also, this year we were warming up on a piece called "Majestia", which is also by James Swearingen, and it sounded suspiciously similar to Novena. Coincidence?

You're first trombonist has amazing dynamic control...I play tenor sax for my band, and I know how easy it is to start drowning everyone out in the solos...Kudos to you

It supposed to be that fast. I played this in 10th grade and again in college. We played it that fast. |
