I was living in Sheffield when this happened. Incredible. I remember walking down a street in Hillsborough the week after and there was a skip outside every house containing floorboards, carpets, furniture... all wrecked. Ever heard Sheffield Shanty by Monkey Swallows the Universe? Weirdly precient what with its lyrics about how "seven hills became seven seas."

sheffield was the worst hit by these floods it said so on the news plus alot of people in sheffield have till not retuend home nd about 4 people were killed in sheffield nd about 600 people got stuck in medowhall i know this because my dad was one of the people stuck in the medowhall area in a cold garage |
