i will absolutely never understand why people always say ff7 was the best. it didn't wow me at all.

I actually found 5 and 9 to be good games. Also you have to think in respect to the time period for the earlier games. Final fantasy one was PHENOMENAL for it's time. It was ridiculously far ahead of it's time, and 3-5 were great games for their times. 9 is pretty cool IMO because it's a throwback to FF1. That's my piece.

i know this game is old, but i started playing it last year haha.. my brother got the game many years ago. I lost it and found it again recently,im playing it now:) ps isn't really my thing but i have to say.. i love this game x) i was really dissapointed in ps2 ff games:( oh well, there will never be another ff IX. man, i'm going to be sad when I finish this game.

dirge doesnt suck, crisis cores' battle system is annoying when it starts, but good game, PSX game is amazing, and the movie is EPIC!

i agree. 7 is the greatest ff out there, even if it is overused. the original is the best ever, never played dirge of cerberus, but i bet it sucks. the one for psp, which is the prelude for teh events of FF7 is pretty good, but i dont like teh battle system. the movie although not great is good. i thought 9 sucked ass though
