You can download beta version of Windows 7 even today. I personally haven't tried it out yet, but according to people it's quite unstable. Talking about the final version of Win7, I've heard it'll be June of 2009, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was released earlier. ;)

Or just wait until Windows 7 gets released. Roughly talking, it will have all Vista's features (+ DX11 support for upcoming video cards) and will be a little bit more "power hungry" that current XP.

why have windows vista on a gaming rig? windows vista gets 50+ fps less than xp in gaming.

in a few years DDR2 will be twice the price of DDR3 so Why wouldn't you buy Some cheaps DDR3 atm and upgrade it l8r?

theoretically double the performance.I personally think its stupid to have that much data in raid-0 with no redundancy.
