Surprisingly, The Flinstones were targeted at adults. Cartoons did not specifically target children until the 1970s.

Cigarettes weren't harmful until the surgeon general said they were. Therefore; smoking was not a deadly habit during the time the Flintstones endorsed the product. And cigarettes were suitable for all ages.Nowadays; the very second someone lights up, everyone within a mile radius immediately choke to death. |
