Actually, the crisis hit everyone worldwide however since I have just visited Europe I can say that Europe is doing slightly better...don't forget if you are broke in the EU you have free medical and there are less homeless. If you don't take The View seriously then why are you watching it? BTW us Americans are not naive most of us just don't give a damn and ignorant. Lastly, as Ralph Nader mentioned the reason why capitalism works in the US is because we have socialism to bail out the rich.

Now how is the US doing "consderably better than the other european nations" ? We are in crisis on many fronts. It might be the wrong time for patting ourselves on the back. There's alot to fix and frankly I'm glad that McCain/Palin are not the ones we are depending on to help dig us out of this mess. |
