LMFAO. Yeah that's true... But only for shounen series (eg: DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece). Shounen usually spans way too many episodes. Gems like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Ninja Scroll, and Vampire Hunter D are the standard I prefer to keep for anime.
