Well, I looked at wikipedia, and even though anyone can edit it, it's usually right. The "Del Scorcho" sauce at Del Taco is the best guess for where the name came from, even though I could have sworn the sauce came out within the lasat 5 years. Also, as I keep telling people, the whole album, including this song is about a play. The main character's last name is Pinkerton, and all the songs have something to do with certain parts of the play.

i don't agree with some comments below. I think the new weezer is great. The red album is the best for its sensitivity and the critic it makes about show business. I think its the most significant lyrically and conceptually. Though, i agree that the album with the song ''beverly hills'' was crap to get a spot on the billboard. I think that what weezer does with the red album is an ARTISTIC and conceptual critic and I think most pop stars lack that deepness in their speech

Agreed. Everytime I say "god damn" i have an urge to continue with "you half japanese girls".

they need to go back to the green blue and pinkerton albums

what I meant by "them" getting better was *new* weezer. No one will argue (if you do, then youa re uneducated) that "The Blue Album" and "Pinkerton" were their best albums. "The Green Album" kind of sucked, but ever since then they've been getting better. More comfortable. I agree, compared to their old stuff, they aren't as good, but they're getting better.
