Yes, it is acoustic, but 'acoustic bass' implies to most a bass guiatr which is acoustic. Not an 'upright bass/double bass'.So yes, it is a bass and it is acoustic. It is not really an acoustic bass by terms of general conversation and consensus.I guess you are being a bit of a pedant.

Stanley Clark "unremarkable" ?? Marcus Miller too?I'm a big fan of Wooten but his forte is more technical as opposed to 'feel' and expression.To say "this guy is pretty fast" shows your ignorance.. if you think playing is all about speed.
