I have recently purchased this camera and I am very happy with it! I especially love the shutter speed mode which is fantastic for capturing pictures of wild life.

Theis review is very hard to understand he uses a lot of jargon but I have bought one of these recently and very impressed with results.

Would you recommend the Nikon Coolpix P80, Sony Cybershot H50 or this camera?

Excellent quality for 8mp.I always do big prints and they are just as good as those from my Nikon D40,so no problems there!!

Thank you very much for your reply!P.S. I have to say I am tempted to get one such convenient device, but I would like to know more about the quality of the prints one can get from the pictures it takes.

I know. Most people never get past watching them on the screen or printing postcard-size pictures. But I would like to go for full-size prints. 12 times (4x3) the size of a 17" screen. How about the quality of that?

I don't see the problem. How big do you wan't your prints? You will get excellent, sharp, colouful, prints up to A3 with no problem, and it is packed with features, with a superlative lens.8MP is plenty, and anything bigger only adds to any percieved noise problems. |
