The best by test. I used to sing this song in the 50's and sixties. Simple and moving song. We called this in Trinidad...Tabanca songs. Because most songs had that tinge of melancholy feelings. Teenage love. Splendid. Just splendid. Lonely Boy, Carol, Diana, Dream Lover, Great Pretender, wooden heart etc etc. The loving era.

It's because both my parents are singers... they sing almost every weekend and I sing along. Most of my favorite songs are those from the 60's - 90's (or somewhere near that). Songs these days are so... annoying.

isablla;its refreshing to know such a young person likes a song from the sixties. |
