I'll be 33 in a week and I find myself in the midst of a third war on drugs, meth this time around. Y'know who the casualties of these wars are? The teen-agers. These wars paralyse the parents with fear so that there is no discussion about the subject, make drugs so taboo and sexy that any teen in their right mind would want to try them and if they get busted they are treated worse than paedophiles and murderers by the legal system.

Dude, people aren't going to drugs in moderation. herion, coke, ectasy, meth, nbd crack, no. I think pot you might be able to do in moderation. I support the legalization of weed, though. Weed is the only drug that should be legalized. If we legalized crack, herion, meth, and acid. It would get out of control.

The "people" were becoming a problem in the late 60s and early 70s, so the gov brought in more harmful drugs in the mid to late 70s and 80s to literally "ruin" the people.

Drugs illegal = public health problem & violent organised crime, corruption.Drugs legal = public health problem, much less violent crime and much less corruption. War on drugs = failure!, massive waste of resources accomplishing NOTHING! A drug bust here, drug bust there = propaganda opportunityIf legal, should they be advertised? NO!Should we get non-biased info on risks? YES!Are drugs harmful? In the wrong hands YES! some drugs -legal or illegal- are more dangerous than others.
