not sure if this is possible with FCP (it should be out the back and i dont have FCP to test it myself but will be using it on jobs) if its possible to make a mask or alpha chanel of some sort to paint out parts of the image that you dont want.. or because you can see a tear because of the different lighting could you explain how to make the left video have transparency at the right edge so it flows with out modifying the brightness.. thank you very much for this tut

Comment for everyone doing video tutorials: Please do not "think" with your mouse pointer. It makes it HARDER for the viewer to follow the point you're trying to make, and all the screen motion makes some people nauseous. When trying to point out something important on a screen: Place your cursor on/near the point of interest, then SAY something like "Look at the slider that I'm pointing at...". WIGGLING the mouse makes it IMPOSSIBLE for the viewer to SEE and FOLLOW what you're talking about.

You can find it at the Apple Store. If you are a student, you can get it cheaper. If you want to go super cheap, look into Final Cut Express which has almost all the regular features of Final Cut Pro. I don't recommend installing any "download" of FCP. That's bound to mess with your Mac. |
