I don't know if they will EVER have as groundbreaking a show as Miami Vice. The editing, pacing, soundtrack and just the way everything fell into place. This is one tough show to beat. And I already mentioned the soundtrack...

Probably the best 1-minute music video you'll find on YouTube. The percussion and guitar work are just so sexy, and fit perfectly with the visuals. I love how the vid clips immerse you in the Miami lifestyle, and don't show ANY of the show's characters. Instead, the ALL CAPS presentation of their names pulls you in, making you wonder how they fit into the glamorous landscape of the video. And I say all this as someone who almost never watched the show in the '80s!
