I made my first visit to Wellington in May 2007, arriving on the Intetrislander Ferry from Picton, and the Tranzcoastal train from Christchurch. Since then I've fallen in love with the city! It's a great place to visit or live. Mind that wind though! Wellington is said to be the second windiest city in the world, beaten only by Chicago!!!
