Well.. not so strictly, i just warm up, do short impro over backing track, pick something - lick, pattern, scale etc. and train it. With a metronome when availible, and slowly increase speed (and from time to time I try to play on speed I cant play - just to get the feel of playing fast:) It really helps :) ). When I am done, I start just noodling around with what I've learned and try to include it in some of my song ideas - to be used on using it in normaln playing... And then go for smt else:)

fair enough, im 15, do you organise it all into sections like alternate picking, legato, tapping, economy/sweep picking, complex chords, ear training, improv ect?

I just turned 18 and I am currently playing for bit more than year:) Btw. I count warming up of muscles (round 30 minutes) to practicing time as well ;)

I love guitar don't get me wrong, I want to pursue it after school. But I don't think I've ever come close to 10 hours in 1 day, I've sometimes done up to 8, but 14 hours...
