This has been acquired by Microsoft and merged with Seadragon (another acquisition) to create Photosynth, available now to the public.

this is par with the most amazing technology i have seen. I have yet to see a site offering publicly unrestricted or privatized use of this. I would like to learn how to incorporate this into my work. Perhaps it is also possible to parse video frames automatically? So many questions - so many suggestions!
