I agree, this song is a very good message. I was not abused or anything, well maybe in todays time I would have been since I did get spanked with the belt,the eighties were different times, but this song has a powerful meaning, and I cry everytime I hear it.God Bless all of you had traumtic abusive experiences as a child, I truly hope your life is better today, and God Bless any child going through it now.
