I have honestly never heard of BMTH or Metro Station. But I've read about Shadows Fall loads of time. and currently, at least where I live there is no scene... well tons of jam bands. but that's besides the point.

they are much more fun to listen to when you have played/are playing/know exactly what they are playing. In a sense its like a sport you've never seen: really shitty to watch if you have no idea what is going on, but once you know, it can be a whole lot of fun.Maybe in a few years for you, young one. Necrophagist is one band to return to every now and then to see what new stuff you hear in it.\m/

slipknot is the kind of band that goes against metal. most metal bands aren't mainstream ( or even then, still not very popular to willy wangster )metal bands need to be good or nobody listens to them. Sliknot is okay, with some god some bad, they are blown out of proportion because of all the people, who think theyre hardcore when they listen to slipknow.
