The world seems to be a colder,a little more lonely place since he passed. He had a HUGE effect on me as a young man...and the person I am today. The last time I saw him; I had the chance to say "hello" but was way to shy, and now I have to live with that. My favorite human EVER!

I hear what you are saying my friend. I was too young by about 5 years to see The Clash but when I saw the Mescaleros, it was for me something which was NEEDED. I knew it wasnt The Clash but it was as near as I was going to get. Just stunning - Joe put his fucking soul into the Mescaleros and when they played Clash tunes, he just nailed it.

i'd chop my balls off to have watched The Clash play Complete Control at Bonds, just the once, never saw The Clash but did see Joe n the mescaleros 3 times, felt like.......... fuck knows, cant explain it. thanks Joe. |
