desert eagle would be complete shit in combat. Imagine trying to carry that hulking thing around with its rediculous recoil, small 9 round magazine, and immense size...it would be a burdon not to mention they cost more than twice as much as an m9 which means more tax dollars for something that is completely useless. You been watching to many movies...thats all..

sig P226 or Glock17 many Armys use them and they come in 9mm - 357SIG - 40S&W ALSO GLOCK COMES IN 10mm - 45ACP - 45 GAP !!

My old dept was issued the 92f, we liked it so much that the union wouldn't let the dept switch to the G22. Years later, I still prefer the 92. It's not perfect, but it's close. By the way, I've owned one for twenty-one years now, and have yet to have one malfunction.

i do shoot straighter with my beretta m9. however, my glock is soooo much simpler and quicker to clean.

i like the shape/angle of the grip but i don't like the fatness of it. the gun is kind of on the heavy side, too. personally, i prefer the polymer pistols such as glock, hk.i still own one, though, since it's the one i'm issued and have to use.
