Many music directors may come and go but only Raja's composition stood against time which are immortal. What a melody! what this song shows is a good composer doest not need to rely too much on instruments if he has the ability to compose a melodius song. My eyes are filled with tears listening to this song. God bless our Maharaja of music.

"ARR was trying with different singers for Yaro Oruvan song in Alaipayuthe, but ARR was not convinced with any of the voices, he felt the voices didn't reflect the exact situation. Then finally Swarnalatha was called, just one shot, she brought up all the emotions ARR was looking for into the song". My all time favorite singer, she's capable of, range of emotional songs to all type of kuthu songs, not every one could do.

Swarnalatha--One of the very very few, most versatile singers. I believe she has not get a proper recognition, appreciation... I remember once Rehana (ARR's sister) shared in a talk show this information.. continued....
