Don't be obtuse. Of course he was "involved": he had a cameo. The point is that having a cameo does not necessarily mean that he was complicit in the disgracful details of the production of the song. Now, while your desperate clinging to Stevie's physical presence as some sort of reassurance gains you more cred than a defense of W.S. on his own, I must urge you to stop pretending that this song is anything but a cop-out (for the reason provided in my previous post).

Him showing his face most definetely does mean he was involved in this video. I mean i know he's blind and everything, but i doubt he made it on the set they happened to be filming by accident, and just hopped on the piana. I guess he prolly was looking 4 the bathroom.

Negative. This travesty shows a complete disregard for taste and respect for ones roots, irrespective of Stevie's cameo. Plus, just because Stevie showed face doesn't mean he was complicit in the production of this poor excuse for hip-hop.

Listen, I love hip hop music. I love it. And I understand that the context and culture of hip hop is rooted in digging records, sampling horn lines, looping breakbeats, ect... But just taking a classic tune and singing different words over it strains artistic credulity. This is weak. Will Smith needs to get himself a real producer and make some real tracks.
