oh yes, thoroughly enlightened thanksI guess every band likes to have hits (?) but this band had to make do with just having brilliant songs, oh wellnot sure it was really "downhill" though

well looking at the chart postions of there other songs it seems to me it was all down hill after party fears and it also depends on wat you define as a hit me i reckon it has to be top 10 to be defined as a hit!!!! cheers hoped thats enlightened you still a goode song though !

Well, Club Country went to No 13 and 18 Carat Love Affair/Love Hangover went to No 21, both also in 1982. But if you think this one sounds good, you really should hear the album!

me to luv listening to steve wrights oldies at 3 on radio 2 god this does take me back think these guys were one hit wonders but neverless still a great song!!!!

I was lucky enough to DJ in The Rock Garden in late 70s early 80s and loved this band.One night they played live and after the set a shy and nervous Billy McKenzie asked me...ME (I am not worthy)if I thought their performance was any good...a genius with a heavenly voice...RIP Billy
