not sure about your post auntie. I never claimed to know the whole story. I am just quoting Malcolm. I guess you could say I was there. Saw The Clash, Sham 69, The Jam,The Police, The Ramones,Husker Du,Cop Shoot Cop, Pete Shelly from the Buzzcocks, The Fast, The Runaways, Babes in Toyland,Teardrops Explode, etc.. But does it get any better than this video?

Actually Mr. Pieface. I am sure that what is commonly referred to as "punk music" started and it was in NYC in the MId 70's. Were you even born then? Malcolm Mclaren the Pistols manager and clothing store manager talks about going to NY and seeing bands like Richard Hell and the Voidoids and bring back the fashion and music he saw and promoting it in London ala the Sex Pistols. I am sure that you are right that punk attitude have been around as long as there has been angry teenagers. Rck on Bro!
