Three sixties songs from Indorocker Clark Richard and his Tropical Stars.1-Queen Of LoveHis very first self penned single recorded for the famous His Masters Voice label.2-I'll TryHis third single and his first release on a new label: Ronnex.3-Ben Jij Dan Zo Verliefd?Clark Richard switched to singin' in Dutch language here, but still managed to remain very succesful.Clark Richard (real name=Richard Andreas) started out singin' in Dutch Indo rock & roll band the Black Rocking Cats (Utrecht City-late 50's/early 60's).He moved to another city (Dordrecht) and with that also came another band: Tony and his Magic Rhythms.In 1961 he did some gigs in Belgium and formed his own band together with some other bandmembers from Tony and his Magic Rhythms.The Tropical Stars were born!Clark Richard and his Tropical Stars became very populair and recorded their first single for the His Masters Voice recordlabel: Queen Of Love/Hot Rock Beat (both own compositions).Soon more singles would follow and the rest is history...
