When i was a teenager I liked this song so much i bought the 7inch record and listened a lot until my big brother took it and never returned. i asked about it but no response. Such a bum. Im pretty sure some kid today is listening if he has a record player of course.

This song was actually banned by most radio stations in the USA when it was released and most refused to play it because it spoke of inter-racial relationships !!! Can you believe that ????

The ABC probably thought so too, and I was a little bit annoyed that I never got a response.

In the most non-confrontational way ozinmanc, 8 years-old or 38 years-old, that is borderline retarded, hahahaha!

When INXS first ever appeared on Countdown I was about 8 or 9 years old. My older brothers loved them but I was a bit outraged by the state of Michael Hutchence, so I penned a letter off to the ABC telling them to tell him to wash and comb his hair.Naturally I never received a reply and I assume the letter went straight into the bin. I still feel quite guilty about being such a smart arse little shit because I too grew to love INXS. |
