You've certainly got a point, let's face it, America doesn't seem to be able to pull off redoing our comedies... they have that unique British quirk. But on the flipside, we can't pull off the kind of quality dramas that your country so eloquantly creates, such as Sopranos. Many of our dramas which try to imitate a similar style just look very absurd, low budget, and mostly comical in comparison. Saying that, I hope this does well as I love Richard Ayoade and wish him every success :)

But, the thing is, that's just the media. Most of the media, everywhere not just in America, is retarded. You can't look at one example of America and say that all the rest of it is the same, because it's not like that at all. I'm American, and I get really annoyed when America tries to remake British shows, and I also get annoyed when Britain tries to remake American shows. Sorry to rant, but it was just bugging me..

well i´m from Sudamerica and here comes a lot of tv series from outsite... and i believe that ALWAYS the original is best... it hapends with "as if", "couple", "ju on", "the ugly Betty" and the original are so much better (even if they win awards)... i just hope that they keep doing seasons of the IT crowd... is one of my favorite shows, and i always hear on real life "did you try to turn it off and on" (i hope that you understand) hahahaahhaha ADORO ESTA SERIE, ES BUENISIMA!
