GTR Evolution PC gameplay 1680x1050

Average intro/presentation, average controls/gameplay but even with maximum settings available at 1680x1050, GTR Evolution has way below average graphics for a game released in 2008. Maybe this stand-alone game-addon to Race 07 is fun for you that have been a fan of the game-series or have a nice steeringwheel for maximum game-experience.Tested on Q6600, 8800GT OC 625MHz 512MB, 4GB RAM. Logitech Rumblepad 2---Edit:Alright you morons I'm just gonna say this once. This is NOT A review. A guy who review games must complete the game and test out the game with all kinds of settings. Driving games must be tested with all kinds of different control types. And finally A review must have SCORE/RATING. So whoever points out that this is A review is a f_cking retard. Those strong words are carefully selected, nothing personal against you.---FAQ:-For you that says: "Why do you care about graphics? This is a sim, focused on the physics bla bla whine whine". Well I'll tell you why.. Do you want a simulator with awesome controls and physics but 2d graphics? or VECTOR-based 3d like from 1994? Why not have great physics, controls AND graphics at the same time? Wake up, it's 2008, not 2005. Stop "defending" this repeated serie with +0.0001 improvements every release. It's certaintly not perfect.-For you that still says: "But you still care about the graphics". Did I play Quake1/QuakeWorld from 1996 to 2005 because of the l33t gfx? Did I play WoW because of I fanboyed the pathetic cartoonstyled gfx? Did I buy BF2 6 months after Crysis just because BF2 have IMBA gfx? I'll let you figure it out on your own. Compare the first GTR and with this GTR-E. How much different is it between them gfxwise in this 3-year-serie?-"Average gameplay?"Get in a car, drive 300+km/h and crash in to the wall. How realistic is the physics for you? Does the car deform in to a "meatball" or does is just spin a bit with small pieces coming off and some guy with terrible voiceacting telling you that the race is over, sorry? You tell me. Even though you aren't supposed to crash.. NO it's not a crashing sim, even if there are such thing, you wouldn't put any attention on other things like for an example: how to get from 1-300 realistic with each vehicle? Point is this is physics from 2005 with minor tweaks and improvements.Quoting about the gfx maybe sounds wrong in this area. But it was mainly to compare every aspect with GTR1 and the series without mentioning it.Yes it's considered an addon, stand-alone addon. Changes are normally minimal. Like Crysis and Crysis Warhead. No major noticeable difference there so far. But it certaintly didn't take 3 years (that's 3:1, 300% time) to develop. BF2 would be perfect example since it's from 2005. If BF3 or a stand-alone addon to BF2 would release now with no major difference from BF2, I would give critics.I never even said that this GTR-E was bad/good _JUST_ because of how late the gfx, physics are or anything else. HELLO!? IT'S NOT A REVIEW! I DON'T DO REVIEWS.---NOTE THIS:I never announced the finish time, neither track nor car in the topic or description which CLEARLY makes this _NOT_ some kind of a speedrun to compete or prove anything. I repeat, _NOT_ a SPEEDRUN. If it was, why even bother go through the intro, showing the menus and options? It's only for peoples future purchase software/mainly hardware-wise. I find it totally useless to browse videos like these when you have the game already or the hardware that handles it.---Edit2:Still morons commenting and thinks this is a *review* or somehow pointing out my first sentence in the description.. sigh.. Well, in addition to Edit1 from above, my only conclusion is that simmers has the biggest nerds in all nerd-categories. You are the one playing sim-games to get close to reality AND then you get hurt from just a tiny tiny sentence about your favorite "perfect" genre and have to put a drama on youtube-comment page. You really care do you about how other people thinks. Even if this is not a review, nor if I've said that this game is bad or good, you just have to whine like some dramaqueen. Note that not every simmers are simnerds. Only those who are getting "offended" and wanna create whiney drama, read carefully. Pay more attention instead to the 2nd sentence at the top instead of getting all hooked up and excited for nothing on the first one. This is the longest description I've ever written to explain myself and it is certaintly not enough by seeing how it's expanding. Any more comments about something that has already been said in the description only prove yourself to have dyslexia and can't read nor understand. I'm done with you. Go ahead, be a hater over internet and don't realize it yourself how retarded it is just like a real fanboy. I submit, you won.
