i have ridden 08 r1's 03 gsxr 100's and i own a desmo. the power from the ducati is in a different league. from the bottom of the rpm range all the way up to 14 k. the handling is so stable its rediculous. you do have to lean over harder and suspension very stiff but you want that and at high speeds it feels stable.i did 168 on that thing felt like 110 on my 05 r6 . i was doing 168 tachen 11k in 5th . more to go and one more gear . plus brakes have a death grip like whoa later

Yeah more people buy Yamaha or Honda because it is damn cheap! So naturally you see more jap bikes because they are also very mass produced everywhere! Ducati is only for the niche market or rather someone who appreciates the italian beauty and masterpiece. Live the high life!

I recommend Yamaha n Honda to make their RCV-211-RR or M1-RR.. then more people would buy them rather than this!!

i love ducatis, dont get me wrong, but honestly, bang for buck goes hands down to the japanese vtwins like the sv1000 and the vtrSP1-2.Ducati running costs are exorbitant and they spend far too much of their lives in the shop not one the road.

I would think you might already know this if you were going to shell out all the clams to have 1 of 300 made for the US in 2k8?Fashion vs. Function of the highest pedigree..The new Fireblade would seem more of a reasonable Weapon for Track Destruction in my opinion, only sacrificing a little bit of sex factor.. |
