this was done with the demo version of fraps, although i have the full version now which makes things better. Rail simulator has only been around for a year so the amount of downloadable stuff is quite small at the moment, unlike flight simulator which i also have fsx and 2004 although i use fs2004 mostly, just installed stockholm Arlanda airport which looks good, have most of areosoft airports will post video of Arlanda soon

Thanks for the info and quick reply. I suppose it's similar to building Airports and Artificial Intelligence aircraft in Flight Simulator. Very time consuming so I just use other peoples free downloads. Very good addition to You Tube I think you've got me into this. I note also that your screen capture software jerks much like mine does, although the actual software runs very smoothly.

no i didn't its from "RAIL SIMULATOR" which is available to buy, there are about 5 routes on the dvd with quite a bit of rolling stock and various scenarios for each of the routes. there are more routes to be found to download or you can make your own by downloading the development tools, although it is quite hard and time consumming

Totally agree with you. I think Hymeks and Warships only ran on the S&D when they were lifting the track.

I must ask this. Did you build all the scenery yourself? I'm not familiar with Rail simulation only flight simulation, but after seeing this I'm tempted to get into this. It's better than a train set! 5 star rating for this I'm really enjoying this!

How cool is this, it passes the top of my street!In fact I often jog along what is the Linear Park soon to be the Two Tunnels Sustrans National Cycleway route!

The scenery and the consist are absoloutly brilliant but your driving does need to improve a bit... don't you think?

This is absolutely amazing, it must have taken a great deal of dedicated work with great attention to detail.I used to live 4 miles from Radstock and spent my young hours watching the Pines and other trains. Fantastic work and I think this should be turned into a DVD to purchase I would be first in the quieu.Many thanks for sharing it with us, Ivo Peters would have been proud.
