You got that right. If black women were the standard of beauty, races of men were seek for us. I just hope that our first lady will shift those images of black women. To reason why non-black men barely seek black women: EUROPEAN BEAUTY STANDARD AND NEGATIVE STEREOTYPES OF BLACK WOMEN IN THE MEDIA. If non-black men open up thir eyes and think beyond this and realize that black women are just as beautiful and they don't fall into those stereotypes, they will choose them more and more.

We as black men and black women are at fault with this. We as black women need to stop choose the wrong mates and giving it up too soon while black men need to stop judging black women's beauty based on European standards and to start being better leaders and start respecting us and our beauty more. That's what is boil down too. The first thing a man notice is a woman's looks, and then her personality, and sadly because most men go by white beauty standards, BW are left behind

What also unfortunately plays a factor when it comes to other races of men for bw is the white beauty standard issue. Lots of men out there fall victim to this atrocity. Since bw are the furthest removed from the white standard they're the least sought after. The media has brainwashed many men with this ass backwards thinking. Also negative stereotypes about bw don't help either.

Okay 70% of black women are single and 43% are unmarried or never been married, because most are only wanting black men. Many never consider other races of men for relationships. Which is ridiculous because bm only make up what 6 or 7% of the US population? And with that you have to factor in the gay, ex-criminals, the marriage oriented. You have to ask yourself is he a quality/decent man. By time you do all that your down to 1 or 2% to choose from. That's not enough bm to go around.

statistics suggest that men die younger because they are twice as likely to die of suicide, homicide, and liver disease. Additionally, they are bigger risk takers and engage in riskier behaviors. As far as wok goes they work in jobs that are more dangerous. Men have never died from working more than women.
