We play harmonica as a duo for many years now.Herman plays bluesharp and chromatic, Richard plays Hohner chord harmonica, Harmonetta and bass harmonica. This song was originally arranged and played by the legendary harmonica duo Don Les & Mo Vint. We owe them gratitude for having inspired us in many ways.

Hello Johnnie, Thanks for your comment. You are very lucky to have been taught by Mo. I find him very impressive too.

Thanks for the vid. I found it when searching for Mo Vint.I took a chromatic harmonica course taught by Mo, 25 years ago. This was one of the first songs we learned. I remember Mo playing taped recordings of various "around the kitchen table" songs done by he and his acquaintances. The theme to Star Wars done by a number of players was particularly impressive. I also remember Mo playing a piece with Don Les on diatonic and thinking it sounded like a clarinet rather than a harmonica. JH

Makes me think of my old 45rpm record by the Harmonicats. As Bob Hope would say "Thanks for the memory".
