well, I just read "Mike Bloomfield - If You Love That Blues". It looks like he wasn't made for success. there was a lot of recognition for him when he played with butterfield, tehe electic flag, not to mention the success of supper session with al cooper. he kind of always ducked when success knocked on his door.

I tried to do those slides on the piano like pine top did this weekend and got huge blood blisters below my finger nails - damn the the blues hurt; but they feel damn good...
