the viewing area is good but there is and airport pub at the end of runway 23r. where ya can go for a drink, have a bite to eat and sit in it's beer garden and watch landing aircraft come 150 feet abouve you! and there is also ringsway road where ya can see aircraft also extreamly low over you. you should try and find them, it's worth it!!!

I wasn´t there when the Cathay Pacific took off. I only live down the road myself, so quite frequently get the Manchester.Will look out for it next time I am there!Cheers
