I actually got to see Mr. Torn live in the early nineties, and it was asbsolutely mindblowing. He absolutely killed my perceptions of what you can and cannot do on a guitar. I'm eternally thankful, David...

Same here. Heard that song on WFNX in Boston around 1987 or so and have followed Torn and related projects since.
