Um...yea. I've spent 25 years in the barrel on Okinawa. Maybe your comment is true for Sunabe and other non-direct swell points, but it's 99% shallow (like can't surf it at low tide shallow)reef break. At head high, it throws huge, gaping, barrels with thick lips that will snap a board like a tooth pick. The bigger it gets, the more dangerous it gets. When big Zampa outside and direct swell points look like Teahupoo, but can't hold the size without sucking the reef dry.
