I'm a child of the 60's ...but I really do love this big band sound of the 40's and 50's ...and Nelson was sooo good!!

My Dad loved this song. It was always played on our record player as a kid growing up. My Dad said he always remembered coming home from the war in Korea and hearing this played on the radio. It was a massive hit.

special atmosphere this song brings. I'm not even sure my parents ever played it and it was also before my time. Somehow, though, it gives very peaceful vibes. Thanks

Hearing this song is my oldest, first memory of childhood. I must have been around 3 years old when my mother put it on a record player and I watched it play. It made quite an impression on me. Thanks for sharing.

Heard this decades ago on WTIC. A better time and place was this era of great instrumentals. Music and much else has devolved.
