who really gives a fuck. no where in the book is there instances or insinuations of homosexuality. the information is irrelevant to the story. if or when a child (or even adult) comes upon the information that "dumbledore is gay," the only difference it could possibly determine is how said child understands and interprets the term "homosexual" in their own minds, and that is ultimately influenced by up-bringing, environment, and the media. "hey let's blame everyone but ourselves for ourselves"

exposure or not, some kids will end up gay regardless. why not educate kids on the possibility while they're still young?

Bill is a low life loud mouth and no sense asshole. he needs to like disappear. he is jsut mad he did not get his ass fucked by the right guy the first time he tried it. people who fear gay are fags themself afraid of themself. Grow up people.

kids arent sexual so how can they be gay.... its just bible belt USA getting scared the gays exist! JK Rowling wrote some brilliant books and they are banned in some states which is mental. If gayness exists (which they do) did god create gayness? If a kid reads a book where a kid may be gay, will that make him gay? No. Get over it America.

well this is a young people book, i don't think youth should be exposed to homosexual themes, now if this was a book for older adults that could dicern things of this nature then it would be another story

homophobic views within our government and the media need to stop or else generations down the line bred with ignorance over the true nature of sexuality are going to be scared enough of us to want to get rid of us for good. Gay/lesbian/transgender people stand up and speak out, educate your brothers and sisters. Show them that our love is nothing to be afraid or ashamed of. "We must not be enemies" |
