Depeche Mode WAS copied by many...that's very true!These guys are simply GREAT. I have followed them their whole career and watched as they turned into international stars. THEY DESERVE IT!!Stonking good video!! It never gets old or redundant. Although their name means "fast fashion," they are still drawing thousands to sites like this...I can definitely see why.

If you ever sit and listen to Depeche Mode instrumentals, you can see how alot of other bands took them and edited them. Or atleast got the idea/inspiration from DM.

The video is genious, don't you get it?Dave is walking through the mountains, with a king robe, then he finally sits watching the ocean, and looking though the nature it has to offer, that he is king of himself...Enjoying the silence. Its spiritual and a piece of mind.

This song was one of the BEST of its time. A TRUE masterpiece from a fantastic group!! The video is pretty cool, too! DEPECHE MODE IS INCREDIBLE!!A perfect example of GREAT music from a very special time! It is kind of sad that the 80's and early 90's are gone. SO many great memories, and the music we had then will NEVER, EVER be as good as it was then!!SO glad this is posted...THANKS!!

No. The fault is entirely with the people who like the new music that is being produced. If there was no one who liked the crap that comes out now there would be no money to flow to the industry, so no industry would not exist. It isn't the industry's fault, it's the fault of the masses.

You are correct. DM is one of the best bands from the good old days. People are on here singing these terrible "new age" songs for their karaoke while I sing the hits from the 70's and 80's for my karaoke. Check it out if you are interested.
